Refund Policy for Elbaz Tours

This Refund Policy is governed by and forms part of the full Terms and Conditions of Booking (Section 3: Client Cancellation and Refunds).

 

1. Scope of Refund Policy

 

This policy applies to all tours, treks, day trips, excursions, and custom travel packages booked directly with Elbaz Tours.

 

2. Cancellation by the Client (Standard Tours)

 

All cancellations must be submitted in writing (via email) by the Lead Client. Refunds are calculated based on the total tour price and the amount of notice provided before the scheduled start date.

Non-Refundable Items

 

Please note that the following items are non-refundable under all circumstances:

  • The initial booking deposit (typically 25% to 30%).

  • Any fees incurred by Elbaz Tours for pre-paid, non-refundable third-party services (e.g., specific flight bookings, high-demand event tickets) as detailed in your booking confirmation.

  • Travel insurance premiums.

 

Unused Services

 

No refund will be provided for any unused services, accommodations, meals, or activities if the Client voluntarily chooses to leave the tour early or curtails any portion of the confirmed itinerary.

 

3. Cancellation by Elbaz Tours

 

In the rare event that Elbaz Tours must cancel a tour due to reasons within our control, you will be entitled to:

  • A full refund of all monies paid to Elbaz Tours.

  • The option to accept an alternative tour of comparable value, with any price difference refunded or collected.

 

Force Majeure Clause

 

If Elbaz Tours is forced to cancel or significantly alter your tour due to Force Majeure (events outside our control, such as natural disasters, civil strife, or government actions), we will offer a full refund less any unrecoverable costs incurred by us on your behalf (e.g., non-refundable payments already made to hotels or suppliers). We strongly advise purchasing travel insurance to cover this contingency.

 

4. Refund Processing

 

  1. Method: All approved refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment (e.g., the credit card or bank account used for the booking).

  2. Timeline: We aim to process and authorize all eligible refunds within 14 business days of confirming the cancellation request. Please allow additional time for the funds to clear into your bank account, which is dependent on your financial institution.

 

5. Amendments

 

If you wish to amend your booking (e.g., change dates or destination), we will apply your existing payment to the new booking, subject to any administrative fees and supplier charges detailed in Section 4 of our Terms and Conditions.
